This six-lesson nutrition curriculum with a pre and post assessment that aligns with California education standards and can easily integrate into your units on Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education. The lessons were created using a behavior-change model that allows students to apply their unique perspectives to the decisions they make every day that influence their health.

These lesson plans have been designed with fun and learning in mind to blend well with your usual instructional sequence. The curriculum is skills-based to help students apply problem-solving, reasoning and critical-thinking techniques.

Exercise Your Options teaches middle school students skills to make better choices when presented with a range of real-life issues.

This nutrition curriculum is free for California sixth, seventh and eighth grade teachers!

Very good curriculum...but the food records pages total servings needed need to be corrected--used old format and the servings numbers don't jive...fruit and vegetable totals are reversed, as are grain and milk..Assume new printing will make correction

this was delicious book. I love delivious healthy milk and clerlea I enjoy eggs, good cheap informetitve

I love this program. My students are totally engaged in the lessons. I really like the changes that were made in this years lessons.

I ahve used this program for the past three years in my 7th grade science class. My students become food experts and set goals for their own heatlthy choice lifestyle. I also cook in my class to introduce my students to new food choices. Usually vegetables they haven't tried and healthy snack ideas. Exercise Your Options is a great program.
