Are you having trouble bringing your school wellness plan to life? Dairy Council of California announces the 2012 Healthy Schools, Healthy Budgets conference to help schools update their District Wellness Policies and move them from paper to action!
Speakers—including a representative from the California Department of Education, a school nutrition director, a school administrator and a worksite wellness coordinator— will share success stories, provide tips and equip you with strategies that have been successfully implemented in various districts.

In early 2012, USDA will release new guidelines impacting school wellness policies. Dairy Council of California’s workshop will help you assess these changes and identify low or no cost ways to meet the requirements of district wellness policies.
Welcome educators, administrators, members of the PTA, curriculum directors, superintendents, wellness councils, community partners and others interested in creating a healthier school environment.
