Dairy Council of California is a state government entity that is funded by California’s
dairy producers and processors. Our primary goal is to enhance the health and well-being
of children and adults by enabling individuals to make healthful food and lifestyle
choices. We are staffed by registered dietitians, nutritionists, educators and communications
specialists in four regional offices throughout California: Sacramento, Oakland,
Culver City and Irvine. We are funded by the state's dairy producers and processors
and operate under the direction of the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

We have free materials for most teachers in California, but there are a few exceptions
due to our budget constraints. More detailed information about
program eligibility is found here.
Teachers residing outside California may order materials at a reasonable cost. Check
this page for pricing and ordering information.
Your order should arrive in two to four weeks. If you have not received your order
within this time frame, call us at 877-324-7901.
Yes, but we will need the names of each teacher in your grade level and how many
students are in each class. Please give us a call at 877-324-7901 and we will place
your order over the phone.
If you have ordered in the past, we will mail you a post card to reorder the student
booklets in August. If you change schools or grade levels, please call us in the
summer and we will update our database. We do not begin shipping materials for another
school year until staff is available at the school site to receive materials.
