Since 2013, Brandon has served as one of Dairy Council of California’s Mobile Dairy Classroom instructors.
Since 2013, Brandon Roberts has served as a Mobile Dairy Classroom Instructor. In this role, he combines his love of agriculture and education by teaching children, families and communities about where food comes from, how to eat healthfully and the value of nutrient-dense foods like milk and dairy as part of daily eating patterns.
Prior to joining Dairy Council of California, Brandon was a full-time classroom educator, teaching elementary and middle school students. While he enjoyed teaching in a traditional classroom setting, he also wanted to bring his rich agricultural heritage to life and teach students important life skills that are not always taught in the classroom. As a Mobile Dairy Classroom instructor, he is able to do both—teach children ag literacy and healthy eating patterns and inspire them to make better eating decisions for lifelong health.
Brandon grew up in Minnesota where he raised cattle on his family’s farm. His agricultural background shapes his experiences, and he is proud to share on a daily basis his passion for agriculture, the food supply and the importance of consuming wholesome, minimally processed foods like milk and dairy. His love for the important work he does drives his longstanding commitment to fostering community health by providing engaging, hands-on experiences to students of all ages.
Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Colorado College and teaching credentials from California State University, Monterey Bay.
